Tackling Success: Tag Rugby Highlights
We would like to extend a huge thank you to all the schools that participated in last week’s Tag Rugby Tournament.
It was an incredible event, bringing together 9 schools from across the Trust for an action-packed day of competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
A special shout-out goes to Charlie Knight, who worked tirelessly to organise such a fantastic event. His dedication ensured everything ran smoothly and that each school had a chance to showcase their skills. We also want to express our sincere appreciation to our 6th form students, whose support and enthusiasm made this event possible. Their commitment to coaching and assisting students from all schools was invaluable, and we are truly grateful for their contributions.
After some exciting matches and impressive performances, the final standings were as follows:
Final Places:
1st – Cliffe Woods
2nd – Sutton
3rd – Halling
4th – Shorne
5th – Stone
6th – St. Botolph’s
7th – Holy Trinity
8th – SGS
9th – Sedley’s
There are still two more tournaments to come, and we wish the best of luck to all schools as they prepare to compete again. The spirit of collaboration and sportsmanship displayed throughout the event was truly inspiring, and we can’t wait to see more action in the coming weeks.
Once again, thank you to everyone involved – teachers, students, and volunteers. This event wouldn’t have been possible without your hard work and support. Let’s continue to make this tournament a memorable one!
Good luck to all teams in the upcoming tournaments – we can’t wait to see who will come out on top!
