Hoops of Hope: Halling’s Strong Performance at Trust Basketball

What a fantastic afternoon at the Aletheia Academies Trust Basketball Tournament! It was a night full of fierce competition, incredible teamwork, and unforgettable moments. Halling came away with 3rd place, and we could not be prouder of the heart and determination our team showed on the court.

The teams that participated were:

  1. St. Botolph’s – 1st Place
  2. Holy Trinity – 2nd Place
  3. Halling – 3rd Place
  4. Saint George’s – 4th Place
  5. Cliffe Woods – 5th Place
  6. Stone – 6th Place
  7. Rosherville – 7th Place
  8. Shorne – 8th Place
  9. Sutton – 9th Place
  10. All Stars – 10th Place

We played with everything we had, pushing ourselves to the limit and supporting one another every step of the way. St. Botolph’s played an outstanding game to take 1st place, and Holy Trinity was right behind them, securing a well-deserved 2nd place finish. Their teamwork and performance were impressive, and we can’t wait to see them back in action.

Finishing in 3rd place was a huge accomplishment for Halling. Our team gave it everything they had, and the effort from every player was incredible. Every pass, every shot, every rebound – we worked as one, and that is what made the difference. We showed resilience in the face of tough competition and kept pushing until the very end. We could not have been prouder of how our team held their own against some fantastic opponents.

Looking ahead, we’re already excited for the next Aletheia Trust Games event — Trust Rugby. The lessons learned in basketball will carry us forward, and we can’t wait to bring the same energy and resilience to the rugby field. A massive congratulations to everyone who participated in the tournament. The effort, teamwork, and spirit shown by all the teams were truly inspiring. Onwards to rugby and beyond — we will see you there!
